What is Phu My Hung Area, Vietnam's largest luxury residential area?

Phu My HungDistrict 7 of Ho Chi Minh City, VietnamIs located in. District 7 is about a 15-minute drive south (about 4 kilometers in a straight line) from District 1 where the People's Committee Building and the Opera House are located.

Based on the "Saigon South Master Plan" decided by the Vietnamese government in 1994, the "Phu My Hung" area will be one of the most luxurious residential areas in Southeast Asia, with Phu My Hung promoting real estate development and emphasizing the green environment and security.

The development project led by the Vietnamese government covers an area with a total area of approximately 3,300 ha in the southern part of Ho Chi Minh City. Residential, commercial and industrial parks are formed by private development developers led by Phu My Hung.

  • Development area: 409ha (about 100 Tokyo Domes)
  • Number of residences: Approximately 16,000 households
  • Resident population: Approximately 40,000
  • Residents: Foreign residents, mainly Koreans (including Japanese)

Phu Mi Hung, which was entrusted with the comprehensive development of the Phu Minh Hung area by the Vietnamese government, was originally established in 1993 as a joint venture between Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and a Taiwanese CT & D group.

Phu My Hung is one of the first companies to develop the real estate market in Vietnam, mainly in the Phu My Hung area, and bring the concept of condominiums to Vietnam for the first time.

Phu My Hung, in collaboration with a bank, offered the first long-term mortgage. Mortgages were limited to five years, but could be extended to more than 15 years.

Phu My Hung's parent company, CT & D Group, has been selected by the World Economic Forum (WEF) as a global growth company and also operates two schools in the Phu My Hung area, Saigon South International School and Lawrence S. Tin Memorial School.

Within the area, there are commercial facilities such as the foreign-affiliated department store "Parkson", the shopping mall "Crescent Mall", and "SC VivoCity". In addition, "Mercedes-Benz", "BMW", and "TOYOYA" have shops in automobiles. Even if Vietnam is a poor country in Southeast Asia, such luxury brand shops are by no means cheap.

In the area, "KPMG", which is famous as one of the four major audit corporations in the world, is based. In addition, there are many multinational companies, such as Unilever, a global consumer goods manufacturer based in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.

Foreign expatriates residing in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam always send their children to international schools. In the Phu My Hung area, many foreigners from various countries, including Koreans, Taiwanese, and Japanese, live, so international schools are widely operated.

  • RMIT University Vietnam
  • Ho Chi Minh Japanese School, Chamber of Commerce and Industry attached to the Consul General of Japan
  • Saigon South International School
  • Lawrence S. Tin Memorial School
  • Canadian International School
  • HCMC Korea International School
  • British Curriculum International School

Several international schools are also within walking distance, including Japanese schools, Korean schools, Taiwanese schools, Canadian schools, and Saigon South International School (SSIS). New SSIS and Lawrence S. Ting School buildings will also be built around the area.

In the Phu My Hung area, there is a general hospital "FV (Franco Bet Namies) Hospital" that provides the highest level of advanced medical care in the city.

Founded in 2003 by a group of French physicians, FV Hospital receives 500,000 patients annually from 68 countries around the world. 150 resident doctors and 1000 staff will be available.

FV Hospital has departments of obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, ophthalmology, digestive organs and liver, and radiation, and is also called the desired cancer center because of its high degree of specialization that can handle cancer treatment.

Just the other day, the condominium of "The Peak" was released as the final sale. This project is attracting a great deal of attention not only from the wealthy Vietnamese living in the Phu My Hung area, but also from Koreans, Taiwanese, Japanese, and Westerners. Until now, the first and second sales were sold out on the day of release, which was unthinkable in Japan.

A notable project in District 7 of Ho Chi Minh City is the development of luxury condominiums by Singaporean developers. The recently released "Infiniy" project is surprising in that it creates a large-scale waterfall in the project artificially. Even in Ho Chi Minh, where real estate development is growing rapidly, there are few projects with waterfalls.

Of course, it is within walking distance to Ho Chi Minh City's 7th district financial center and international school, so it is a recommended property for families. For condominiums that have already been completed, we also handle rental properties. Please feel free to contact us, even if it is a trivial matter.
